This Hospital project, otherwise known as 'Open call' took place in St Woolos Hospital in Newport. The artworks are in collaboration with Garth arts in health and hold a permanent spot within the hospital. 

This art project displays the positives within the NHS and acknowledges the unsung heroes that work for the NHS like the staff, cleaners, mechanics, patients and their families and many more. To develop these ideas for the artwork, as a course we held a workshop that allowed members of the public to share their personal experiences with the NHS to inspire the artworks for the exhibition. Overall, this allowed for a personal connection to be made with the artworks as they depict real and genuine stories.

With the collaboration with Studio Response, the artworks presented in the exhibition had frames and printing accounted for they gave the exhibition a professional finish, guiding the project in the right direction.
